About me

Anybody who knows me from my old webside already knows the story behind why I started to craft dolls. For everyone else and everyone new, I`ll gladly tell it again.

I started making dolls and flower children namely because of an "accident" with the doll of our - now grown-up - daughter. I had put "Tine" (the doll) in the dryer after washing her and almost created a moderate to severe catastrophy, being it the case that the whool inside the dollhad clumped together, therefor causing "Tine" to deform... but thanks to the help of the lady that had made "Tine" I could save her and prevent any havoc. Nowadays, "Tine" is still alive and comforts our daughter from now to then in times of trouble.

After a talk with the lady that had crafted "Tine" and a workshop in doll-making following shortly after, I started sewing and crafting dolls myself. This happened a good 16 years ago.

After that, again because of an emergency, I met a second lady from whom I learned how to make flower children.

I`m always amazed throughout what coincidences my life gets send a particular direction and what happens when I am doubting what I`m doing. To be honest, I`ve thought about putting making to an end a few times, but every time I did, customers and friends connected with me in some way, let it be by call or text to tell me how lovely my creations were, how they`d brighten up their day - and that my creativity was a rare gift I should cherish and well... share.

That`s why I decided to continue what I do and document it with this new webside. I have a lot of ideas in stock and I hope that you like what you`re about to see on the following pages - and what you`ll see in the future!
